XEOMIN® is an injectable botulinum toxin that can temporarily improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the skin. Please note that there is the possibility that the medication can spread to other areas of the body and cause the same effects from hours to weeks following injection. Two of these effects are difficulty swallowing and/or breathing, which can be life-threatening. Those with certain neurological conditions such as Lou Gehrig’s Disease should be closely followed after injection. 

The most common side effect reported by patients was headache at 5.4%.
